I am having performance issues with my game. Is there something that I can do?

If you are facing performance issues with Angry Birds: Evolution, here you will find some handy tips for freeing up additional device resources. Prior to attempting any of the below, please ensure that your device meets the game's minimum system requirements :

For iOS devices :

-iOS 8 or higher

-Minimum 1GB RAM

For Android devices :

-Android 5.0.x and above (note that the game may not be compatible with specific devices even if you do meet the Android version requirement)
-Minimum 2GB RAM

Performance Enhancing Tips

iOS Devices

• Force-close all background applications from the task manager prior to launching the game.

• When the phone is unlocked, hold down the top power button until the 'slide to power off' slider appears, and then hold down the bottom home button for five seconds. The home screen will then reappear, and your phone's temporary cache will be refreshed - boosting your phone's performance.

• Restart your device to ensure that no cache issues affect performance adversely

• Please make sure that during gameplay there are no active downloads/uploads as the game requires sufficient bandwidth available to operate optimally.

• In case you operate a rooted/jail-broken device, please revert to the standard version of your operating system as soon as possible. The game is not intended for use on devices violating their respective app store policies.

• Please make sure that your antivirus app is not blocking any functions of the game. You can always add an exception for the game via your anti-virus app's settings menu.

Android devices :

• Logging into your Facebook account to save the game progress first and then clearing the game's app cache ( Settings > Applications > Manage Applications> Angry Birds Evolution > Clear Cache). Please do not select "Clear Data" as it will wipe all progress.
